This small apartment was transformed into a rational and efficient space even though changes to existing walls and utilities were minimal. Useful space was reclaimed by reducing unnecessary circulation space. The apartment was rendered more rational, and therefore calm, by defining activity zones: including comfort and relaxation, kitchen and dining, and sleeping. A small bath was crafted to convey an aqueous feeling using careful detailing, color and reflective surfaces.
